Tibetian prayer flag initiative!

The terrible tragedy of Duisburg is still on our minds and lies like a dark shadow over our everyday’s life. Reminiscence and sadness is mixed with questions about what could have done and how to cope with such a tragedy.

We all feel the same! We as well have the need to do something to help the victims and their relatives. We thought that one way could be the traditional Tibetan prayer flags.
According to an old tradition there is no easier way to collect good spirits in this clouded world. The Buddhist prayers, mantras and powerful symbols on the flag produce a spiritual vibrancy, which are carried by the power of the wind in all areas and directions. Everyone who gets in touch with them will profit from their energy. They will become more stable and happier.

Your are invited to participate!
On the basis of this tradition we offer you the possibility to express your sadness and feelings on the prayer flags. Please try to think still positive and concentrate about good feelings and wishes for the future. Not anger and hate should be our motivation but rather compassionateness.

This is what you can do:
In selected clubs you can write your feelings on such prayer flags or you send an email to Wiebke wiebke.wieczorek@cosmopop.biz with your wishes and we will write them on the flags. Let us all together rehabilitate the terrible incident of the past days. After 49 days and within a solemnly ceremony we will hang the prayer flags in memory to the victims and relatives. The initiative is happening with the kindly support of the German Tibet Haus in Frankfurt.
